Every product we cover goes through the same structured review process. We start with the ingredient list: what is actually in the formula, in what concentration, and what does the published research say about those ingredients at those levels?
What we look at
- Ingredient quality and concentration
- Published clinical evidence for key active ingredients
- Absence of potentially harmful additives
- Brand transparency and manufacturing standards
- Price relative to efficacy
- User experience factors (taste, texture, packaging)
Our sources
We cite PubMed-indexed studies, Cochrane reviews, and guidance from professional dental organizations. We do not cite manufacturer-funded studies without disclosing the funding source. When the evidence is limited, we say so.
